Hello!

This site was founded in January 2008 and seeks to answer or provide pointers to solutions on some common issues with VMware products, and maybe other virtualization products in the future. Hence the "Frequently Asked Questions" part in the site name.

As the usual story behind a FAQ, the writers of the FAQs noticed they were answering some questions repeatedly. Also, as the internet community has helped us so many times, it is a small chance to give some help back. We'll see how it goes.

The people behind the site are:

Lars Troen, the author of VMktree (http://vmktree.org/)  a free statistical tool. It is due to Lars that the site uses this very nice KBPublisher.com software. Lars provides many of the answers.

Henrik Huhtinen is a VMware authorized consultant (VAC VCP) who gets his bread and butter from working with VMware products.

We would like to thank all good people on #vmware@freenode and VMware Community forums for their questions and answers.
